The Biography of Lise Hansen – homeopathic veterinary surgeon
Lise Hansen DVM MRCVS CertIAVH PCH qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1994 from The University of Copenhagen. She then moved to the UK where she worked as a vet in conventional small animal practice.
Lise studied homeopathy for three years with the Homeopathic Physicians Teaching group in Oxford and passed the examination of The International Association for Veterinary Homeopathy in 1999. She has also undertaken training in acupuncture for animals.
In 1998 Lise set up a veterinary homeopathic referral service in London, based, at one point, at four different veterinary clinics across London. She now focuses entirely on one London clinic, Hyde Park Veterinary Centre in central London, seeing patients here from all over the country. Lise continues to participate in countless courses and seminars, constantly taking homeopathy further.
In 2004 she finished the two year “Dynamics course for advanced homeopathic studies” taught by the acclaimed homeopath Jeremy Sherr.
She is also frequently asked to contribute to a wide selection of magazines, web sites etc.
In a joint project managed by the Faculty of Homeopathy, Lise has co-authored several articles published in the peer reviewed journals “ The Veterinary Record” and “Homeopathy”.
